Recorded in 2005, these two singles were meant to be the first for The Mercies, for early '06 release. Immediately after the completion of the tracks, the band, excitedly went into recording a full length at drummer Jonny Stevens' home studio. So, these tracks were shelved, although mixed by Bill Racine at his Railroad Studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. With the 10 year anniversary remaster of The Mercies full length, (and an additional EP of unreleased songs), this single is FINALLY being released as well, to celebrate this fun little band with big heart.
